zOMG!
I hear there may not be a Powerama this year!
Googling isn't providing much detail. This has major suckage potential.

In the spirit of the times...
...necro meltdown.
Mostly not wanting to start a whole new thread and it isn't really of much interest outside of central Alberta.

What is a 5-6-7 Chevy?
'55, '56 or '57 Chevy.
They're also called Tri-Fives.

Your wife likes to drive old Chevies? Cool. Are these daily drivers or show cars or what? Personally I think they look cool and could see having one for a hobby car, but new cars certainly drive way nicer for everyday use.
Personally I like the 62 a lot.
Yep, she likes the old Chevys. New cars do drive nicer, but old cars have to be driven, if that makes sense.
Lot's of '62's out there, you should look at getting one and enjoying the hell out of it. No second go arounds in life and in the overall scheme of things enjoying a old car is small beer. Lots of parts, mechanically simple, and sheer fun.

I'll leave that to you. I barely drive the car I have now. I used to do some of my own work on older cars I had when I was young, but it's not something I enjoy now. My favorite was 56 Fairlane, Thunderbird 312 V8, white over pink. A 67 Malibu was very nice too, even with just the 283.
Bikes are my thing now tho. Much nicer to work on, for the little they need. But, in a way, driving old cars is a very green thing to do.
It's the third of the three "R's" - reuse.
Using technology from today makes them more efficient than when they were built which is a great bonus too.
Coolest "oldie" I saw was a 1995 '57 Chevy.

That's the second R. Recycle is the third one. And you're sorta missing out on the first R using an old car as a daily driver. But I shouldn't lecture.

I thought the 3 R's of cars was Revvin', Rippin', and Racin'

Whatever number "R" don't really matter. Daily driver for me is sort of a misnomer, I live 2 long blocks from work. It still uses way less than the original from back in the day, so it's still in the "reduce" part.
Well, until I light 'em up.

Doesn't look like it. Nothing listed at Northlands, or the official Powerama site. Looks like you're gonna have to find new droolin' grounds.
