Go Oil!

Lets put it in the bag tonight and get those guys some time to rest. Half of them are sick and the rest are so tired they can hardly skate.

Even though Game 3 was a nail biter, and I would have preferred to win 4-0 rather than 5-4, you have to admit that it made for some very entertaining hockey!

They were chocked tonight! :(

IkeaMan @ Thu May 25, 2006 8:26 pm

Reminded me of how the Flames would choke in a critical game. The Oilers weren't hungry enough tonight but should do better on Saturday night, providing they don't take costly penalties!

I've said this before, the Edmonton Oilers are in a position they haven't been in since...a long time. Not to say they are dominating the playoffs but rather they played upon the mistakes and mishaps of other teams and exploited them. They are....sorry, were, up 3 games to none and that is a position they apparently couldn't handle. Ducks came out flying, Oilers did not. When you're outshot 25-3 in the friggan first period.........even I know the outcome of that. Mac-T needs to get his winning line out instead of switching it around. Raffe and Devorak, not good. To tell you the truth, the momentum is all on the Ducks now since that goal splurge last game and personally I think they can score now...not good.

Patrick_Ross @ Thu May 25, 2006 8:51 pm

I think the younger Oilers came out tonight thinking the series was already over. Losing tonight will send them the message that "yes, they actually do have to play these games to win them.

They'll win game five.

Tman1 @ Thu May 25, 2006 8:59 pm

I didn't watch the third period (to disgusted) but went to online forums. Seems to me they just weren't interested in winning by the third period. Flu? Aren't people supposed to get shots for that?

IkeaMan @ Fri May 26, 2006 9:28 pm

The Ducks will have the momentum on their side for game 5 tomorrow night. The Oilers will be back home at Rexall Place in Edmonton for game 6 on Monday night to finish off the Ducks in style in front of a roaring and defening sellout crowd!
