Drumheller is actually quite nice,twisting roads through the coulees,lots of dino fossills.

   

I suppose that depends on which side of the fence you see it from!

   

I spent about 3 years building leases and pipelining in that area,lived in the campground at Trochu for a year then rented a mobile.
In the morning I would drive north and get the grader which was allways parked at the junction and head her over to big valley,Castor and Halkirk,I had to cross that one lane bridge over the red deer river all the time and it was usually fogged in but the boss told me to wait on the top of the hill,when you saw no traffic give her shit and kick that grader into neutral to get over the bridge before it fogged in.
I used to hit that sucker at close to 50 miles an hour in the grader.
That is very pretty country with all the hoodoos .
