Groundhog Day is a sign that Spring is coming, For me it's watching these Electra's doing their test flights in late March.
We always seem to have a predominant wind here so most days they begin their approach almost over top of my house. With a strong head wind they look like their floating, they come into the turn so fast with a tail wind, turn, and then hit the wind, it really does look like they're floating. I've enjoyed a few beverages out on the deck on those extremely warm spring days, watching the mini air shows.
Same thing can be said about fall. The days you see them coming home Oct/Nov. snow is close to happening.
