I felt motivated to remake all the top level gallery thumnails, with the new style, they are also large.
I also clean up the main gallery page a bit, and included a count of how many sub categories a category has.
I also included a simple link list at the bottom of all the galleries, in a hierarchy, so if you know where you want to go, you can get there faster.
also did some resorting. Moved the "Avro Arrow" galler under "Canadian Armed Forces". Create a new category called "Sports" and move "Hockey" & "Skiing" under it.
One thing you might consider is in the members section, putting the member's handle by the thumbnail.
hmm good suggestion, you can see the username when you click the pic, they are the submitter. But not on the thumbnail list.
I also changed the thumbnail code, all thumbnails are the large size, and are all a uniform size, so looks nice and clean. The pictures is zoomed in and cropped to create a square thumnail for any shape picture.
A nice example: http://www.canadaka.net/gallery-18-canada_scenic.html
I made it so I can disable this zoom/crop on some galleries where it doens't work so well, like the Canadian Clipart gallery

I also fixed thumnails for pictures that have transparency. Before it would fill it in with Black, and look all ugly and pixeleted most the time. Not its white in the back.
I added a new gallery called "Canadian Politics". People can upload political pictures.

I did a facelift to the design of the gallery, it was outdated and broken with the recent changes i've made.
The gallery looks nicer and navigation (breadcrumbs) are nicer. I also implimented the ajax rating stars. And I totaly remade the picture comments, they now allow nested comments, so you can reply to previous comments. It also looks much nicer.
Example here: http://www.canadaka.net/pic-11089.html
I added a bunch of sub-alleries to better organize the Armed Forces Gallery.
