Dr. C for me is an easy choice.

As for Bart, I think it would be a massive mistake to have someone like him as an admin. Not being Canadian is the first strike but the way he carries himself, the way he reacts when people disagree with him, the way he uses and abuses the reputation tooll and his general anti-Canadian attitude makes him unfit for the job.

Tech experience isn’t necessary and I think most people here could figure out the backend of the site pretty quickly.

   

Caleb would be the way to go....no one thinks he's an asshole because he's never acted like one, which can't be said for other nominees. FOG, as a former bosn would demand bananas and varsol as a weekly tribute. Xerxes had a shot at being a mod once and lost it in the past, but then again the dynamics of the forum have shifted dramatically since then. If it's just about stamping out spammers, how about Thanos? he'll also keep the more extreme elements in check.....or there's always the dirty old man. He doesn't fight with anyone. Or how about Strutz.

   

I'd do it just to ban spammers. I'm not interested in policing anyone else, even if they piss me off personally. As the American cop would say, I'm doin' my job sitting here eating these here donuts, not policin' your black asses.

Me: True...nobody asked but I have done the job before elsewhere and one should offer to help when taking advantage of others hospitality. However, if you think I'm off-center now you should see me after a few years of being required to be the adult in the room. Doesn't suit me. I need to be able to sink to the level of my adversaries when attacked. Last time I did the modding I swore on my personal interpretation of God to never do it again...so there you go.

Strutz: Absolutely. Every mod panel should have a Strutz. Keeps the rest of them sane. Well, as sane as possible.

   

I appreciate the noms but Shep is right. I did it for a little while some years ago and didn't comport myself well, I'm sad to say.

That said, that was a while ago, and I like to think I've wised up a bit since then, and if Trev and Hyack would have me again, I'd do it.

board, one might take the opportunity to self reflect on just how wrong you are.
