There is a new points system for Canadaka.net! contributing and being active in many areas of the site now earns you points.
When you get certain numbers of points you belong too different groups, atm i made 3 groups:
CKA Members
(requires 50 user points)
Active Members
(requires 500 user points)
CKA Vets
(requires 1000 user points)
For a list of things you can do to make points and there worth look here:
http://www.canadaka.net/modules.php?name=User_Groups&op=list
Once the system gets going good, i will be rewarding users with the most points!
Along with the points system i changed the forum ranks a bit, here is a list of the ranks now:
Newbie
Junior Member

Active Member
Forum Junkie
Forum Addict
Forum Elite
Forum Super Elite
CKA Elite
CKA Super Elite
Where does that leave me??? The most posts and only 319 points???? WTF?? LMAO
You should start a union, RH...that'd teach the bastards.
I'm pretty sure there's some sort of error. maybe you spun the odometer over?
no error, the points ssytem everyone started at 0 start of july.
its not a big deal, i think i have to rework the points worth anyway.
so much to do, so little time
LOL I didnt have my co0mp for nearly 2 months.. June and most of July so im getting back into the swing here modding again folks.. So the easy times are gone now immmm baaaaaacxccckkkkkk... LOL
It's good to see you back, RH. The place just wasn't the same without you.
Fyi _blah,
Members of the military both present and former are experts at identifying braun nosers from miles away. . . . .
What an idiot.
Is there a way to check ones current points tally?
I think this is a novel way to get people to participate more. Good idea Trev.
One thing tho, will you be putting the scrolling top ten in again. I know there are many other users that miss it as much as I do.
heh heh, nevermind about the points question. Once I made my post I realized the points number with it and the link
im not planning on puttig the scrolling block back... there is limited room on the frontpage, and the new dropdown expandable list, takes up less space and shows much more than the scrolling block did.. ahve you sued it?
this is a good idea, it'll make people more active probably.
It took me a little while to get my bearings straight, but now that I know how to navigate the new format a little better, its not so bad.
