Should know in two weeks if its a boy or girl. It is illegal for the technician to tell us the sex of the baby. Our doctor will tell us. My wife didn't even get to watch the monitor for most of the ultrasound and I got to watch about one minute of quick views of different parts of the baby from different angles. I guessing its a girl going by the quick bum shot I saw.

   

Its super hard to tell anything from those pics. Just be patient and have both girls and boys names picked out because docs are wrong on that sometimes too.

   

Its fun to guess and I don't care either way so long as it can take a hard slap shot!!

   

lol so true, you need to get some litle speakers playing the hockey night in canada theme and put them up to your wifes tummy. JUst get them farmilliar with the game early he he he

About determining the sex, like Zoraja said, the docs don't always get it right. E.g. I was supposed to be a boy, according to the docs and the ultrasounds... but it was the umbilical cord not a penis!

But in your case it might be just right, if there was no umbilical cord/penis in sight!

Congratulation... you are about to step into the unknow... it doesn't matter how prepare you are to parenting, your kid will dictate how your parenting is gonna be. Its a action/reaction thing.

This is the, and by far, most chalenging, demanding and rewarding job I ever took. Love my kids and they make me learn something new about myself every day. You will rediscover life and see it from a new perspective.
