this is something that people wont notice but i converted the frontpage blocks and news story code from clunky old tables to CSS DIV's. so its less code loads a bit faster and looks the same.

I want to eventual convert most of the layout table into divs.

   

I noticed the differenec looks good Trev,, Now I have another prob,.,, I tried to change the poll but only the question comes up, but none of the options???

   

when logged in you will see the 2 links quicklinks: "Profile & Logout" beside the arrow at the top of the site.

   

fixed it so the browser title bar is more descriptive around the site, including the forum and gallery. Better for bookmarking pages/picture and for search engine indexing.

   

Everything in the forums is now centered. All the signatures and everything. Why?

   

I think the changes look great Trev. Had a problem last night getting in, but that must have been when you were updateing. I see when your posting to the forums that the preview and submit button don't say anything in them.

   

yes this is really weird.... a bunch of things suddenly changed, some of the fields text are white, and no text on form buttons, and text centered..

   

ok i seem to have fixed the forum problems and tidy'ed it up a bit.

   

Ya know, I think I liked all the stuff in the forum centered.........

I do like the name and avitar section centered like that though.

   

I prefer to hve the tect in a forum on the left bnut I like the avatars and user names centered. Looks great. All the submit and preview buttons also have text in them. It looks a lot neater.

   

[ SITE UPDATE ]
I cleaned up the look of displaying the picture in the gallery a lot!

It now will make a resized image that is the width of the site, so it doesn't stretch the site forever. then there is a link to view the full size image in a popup window.

Also moved the image stats from the left side to below it, and made it look good

   

Thats a really good idea. That way our pages aren't like 2000 pixels wide. I noticed that, and it'll tell you how big the real pic is.

   

I really like that member creations section in the galleries. Thats a great idea

   

FINALY fixed the thumnail system in the galleries. For the last 2 months all the new additions thumnails have been crap quality, like 16colours. Couldn't figure it out. But i got it fixed and deleted all the crap ones so now all the thumnailks are in full 32bit colour. example
