Hey there's a place where I grew up that did those. Our family did a Civil War one and they did it with an old cam too.... was pretty sweet and had all kinds of different themes.
No retouching though, just the photo as is.
But I also admit, I have done a few body/location replacements.

For two years now I've been paying Adobe about $11.00 a month for their Creative Cloud service which gives me full access to Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC as well as Fuse 3D. At $132 a year, it's a bargain IMHO...
