I'm from St John, New Brunswick...Living in Toronto now, though.
The Newfie-Labs tried to assimilate the rest of the country but the cod not pull it off. Their efforts sceeched to a halt.
OK.
So that was pretty awful.
I'll shut up now and go quietly. Jeez, my muse is a Newfie. Please don't tell her about the line at the top of this posting.
I wrote a story about her. You can read it at:

I'm off to TO tomorrow to re-establish my identity and reassure my kin folk that I'm still in the plot to take over New Brunswick. I'm concerned, though.
I called them last night to confirm my arrival date and they said, "Aye, byes, we'll be waitin' at the station. Bring cod."

I FALL INTO A COMMON THEME ON THIS POST, I AS WELL MUST LIVE WHERE THE MILITARY TELLS ME TO.
BUT I WAS BORN AND RAISED IN THE TOWN OF 4 O'S
OROMOCTO, NEW BRUNSWICK
I SPENT 26 YEARS OF MY LIFE THERE AND I MISS IT, ESPECIALLY AFTER BEING POSTED TO PETAWAWA.
Lived in a little village north east of Moncton for 13 years, but make my home in Ontario. I still go there every year to see my parents, plus to get away from the ratrace of southern Ontario.
Oh, also to get my fill of good fish and scallops!!!!
