boy beaten in Surrey park
wait a minute i just saw something everybody is missing.
everybody is looking at the meaning of firearms, but nobody is looking at the meaning of defensive weapons.
as the police say "there is a thin line between what a defensive weapon is and a ofensive weapon"
my baton could of been a ilegal ofensive weapon simply if it had a spring, but it dosnt so its a defensive weapon. "the line is very thin"

Actually, your baton becomes an offensive weapon if you use it in the commission of a crime, i.e. to rob the local gas station. In that case, it wouldn't matter if it has a spring in it or not.
I think whenever, and whatever you use to hit someone with can be considered a dangerous weapon.

indeed, but always now your rights. theres a very thin line of anything begin used as a weapon for any action. the law of self-defensice says it is legal to protect your self but another law says how you protected your self makes could make you a criminal, then another law says because i can't protect my self im the one who gets arised for assault, because the attacker is considered the victim.
