Kiddie head & shoulders rhyme for leaving anywhere
Keys and glasses, wallet(or purse and), phone....

Whenever this friend comes for coffee and doesn't sing it to herself before leaving, she's back in 5 minutes because she forgot one...

$1:
The BC SPCA is asking the public for help identifying the owner of a dog found wandering near Lytton after the fire that destroyed most of the village late last month.

According to the SPCA, two employees of Fisheries and Oceans Canada were patrolling on 12 Mile Road near Lytton on the evening of July 8, when they spotted the dog on the side of the road.

The dog came running up to the workers' truck, apparently spooked by a thunder and lightning storm in the area, the SPCA said in a news release.

“They opened the truck door and she jumped right in," said Lorie Chortyk, general manager of communications for the BC SPCA, in the release.

How great will her humans feel when they find out she made it through that disaster?

Thunder might be how dogs came to be. Wolf runs into a cave jumps on caveman's lap shivering like a puppy.
Was putting new rubber floormats in my Jeep one day and a thunderstorm started. The local "mean dog" came streaking across the yard, jumped in and trembled like a scared chihuahua. Kept licking my face, I couldn't close the door he was trailing 20 ft of chain and the tiedown stake!

They retain some spirit. Mine grew up with a cat, stands with head out doggie door deciding. Comes when called - if he feels like it. Eats the leftover eggs - if he gets Hollandaise sauce too....
But there's been more cheering for this particular dog than concern over the 2 people that died in Lytton.
