for some reason you never see photos of Vancouver facing south, and you don't often look at the sity facing south/east/
Well I was out at Lighthouse park on the weekend, down at ocean level, looking back at the city, there was an amazing view I had never seen before. The gleaming city on a clear summer day, with snowy Mt.Bake towering up in the background.
I must go back, with my girlfriends and her new DSLR camera, on a clear air day and take some photos. There doens't seem to be many...
I searched on google images, and couldn't really find any good ones. here is something to get the idea, but the photo and its quality is crap, plus its small.
Oh and Lighthouse Park is beautiful, I even took a jump into the ocean, still a bit cold though
That is a fantastic picture Trevor!!!
i've been to vancouver before when i was 12, but i've never been to the island. can u see vancouver from the island or is it too far away?
that's cool, but not really a good photo op, i guess
It almost looks like Rainer in that pic! I see Baker all the time (when its clear enough) but this has to be the best shot I have seen of it with Van City front and centre. Great pic Trev! Gotta love living in Lotus Land!
That is such a stunning picture, I love it. My new desktop
Reminds me of my recent trip to B.C.
Hope to show mine soon.
you don't see sights like that here in edmonton. I miss home
