I'd like to start this thread to post gas prices where you are buying gas.
Post the date, location and cost/liter of gas. The thread is not intended to be a discussion forum to debate why gas is so high, why we pay too much tax, etc etc....
If we keep in on track it would be a good thread to check for current gas prices across Canada and even much of the US as we move into what is sure to be an "interesting" year at the pumps.
For US posters, here is a quick way to estimate conversion to $CDN/liter. With 3.785412l/gal x 0.80USD/CDN, you end up with a factor of 3.02. (check my math). Using the exchange rate assumption, and assuming that the number of liters in a gallon will not change, take the price you pay at the pump in the US and divide by 3 to get the cost in $CDN/liter.
Let me be the first:
$2.49/gal = 249/3 = $0.83CDN/liter

PS - who knows, maybe the moderators will even make this a sticky *ahem*. >:)
93.6 CDN/ltr
Most of Eastern Townships (Prices range from 90-96)

(PS, the gas in the UK is around 2.00 CDN/ltr, so we're lucky)
winnipegers are the cheapest people i know, uhh i mean frugal.....
Winnipeg Gas Prices
Creeway PetroCan Saskatoon April 27th at noon - 94.9 cents per liter.
I don't drive, but I'll be sure to keep my eyes peeled if I ever carpool or just pass by a gas station.
But just to help you with your "sticky" ambitions, I'll chip in as best I can. With benchmark amounts... ^_^

Gas prices around here can change 5 to 10 cents in a day or 2. I think the best days to fill up if you only need to fill up once a week is Tuesday or Wednesday. They usually put the price back up for weekends, especially since summer is approaching. Middle of the week is the best time to fill up usually.
$2.369/gal (/3 = $0.79CDN/litre)
Tumwater WA, Costco
Prices sliding down here.

I think it was around 92.7-94.7 cents on the way to Vernon today
It's between 96.9 and 98.9 in Quesnel today. 49.9 sounds like a much better number to me.
83.5 in London Ontario
Its worth paying more for gas because of are weather
Sorry, finally passed by a gas station and read $2-something USD for the Premium stuff, but was too busy gawking at the $1.59USD "Kerosene" pump. Aside from jet fuel, I though that deserved a nice big juicy "WTF?!" (although it's probably just me being ignorant in the ways of car fuel). -_-'
Anyhow,....

So, Mr. Muk-of-Luk, how do you feel this thread is progressing so far? Do you need any other bit of help or just more gas prices? ^_^
I love this thread. So far only one "bite me" post...I am assuming that was an offtopic post, and not the price that lily actually had to pay for gas. If someone asks you to bite them for gas, you should carry on to the next station....its a scam.
I just want to keep the thread alive once in a while, it will be neat to see the trend as we get into $1.50/l gas in Canada this summer - lol.

It's 85.9 in Calgary, but my sister in Edmonton is filling up for about 82.5 she said.
