Local gas prices in PE are an average of $1.14.6 a liter as of last week...how about your region?

   

I paid $1.03.9 yesterday but on the radio this morning they were saying gas was $1.11.9 in London ON. The sepeculation was that gas could hit $1.50 a litre by the end of the summer.

   

98.7 here,not sure about deisel but it's cheaper right now then gas,if oil hits what they say it will expect it to get much higher,maybe $1.50/litre by the summer.

They still sell with a precision of 0.1 cents ? Here it's climbing by the cent since it hit 1.00.

   

$3.19USD a gal.

1 US gallon is equivalent to 3.7854 litres

1 USD = 1.135 CAD

   

It has stayed around $1.09.1 up in my area.

Another season of ripping off the general public!!!!!!!!!!

   

$1.06 in my hometown, but I believe it's slightly higher in Prince George.

the Hat 97.9 but wait 5min. it will change the problem is that the prices change for absolutely no reason . I havn't seen a reason yet that cannot be challenged or are formed by mere lies and greed . Its bullshit regardless what myth legend or tale the WTO , government , environmental group and fuel industry wants to tell you . Sorry David Motorcycle (Suzuki) thats just the way it is . Someone tell me how a country so abundant in the resource with such a small population can entertain the excuses about shortage , high use , environment etc when much higher than the equivalent to Canadas present day use was used by other countries probably a century ago . Its a sad day when only one resource covers the cost of everything . I'd like to rant some more but I'll just leave it at that

   

Reasons they give for these price hikes are that we are entering the busy summer season for gas use so demand is going up and all the crap going down with Iran.

   

If oil was managed better in Canada we wouldnt have these wild fluxations. We are a large supplier of it, we should be helping to SET the price not be abused by it. But Canada has pretty much no say in its price setting, its all big businesses, all we can ever do is sit by and enjoy the raping. Gotta love it.

   

Next election I am voting Communist.... Lets close the borders and keep Oil and Gas to ourselves.

That's the problem. Canada has been forced into being a perpetual supplier of raw materials. Much of the refining and manufactoring occurs elsewhere, usually south of the border. This is not limited to just oil and gas but all raw materials.
