Hello together,
in September (this year) my girlfriend and I will go to Vancouver!
We received our travel and work visa! Now we are looking for a job!
I´m a Chemical Engineer and my girlfriend is an architect!
Is it difficult to find a job in this industries?
Can someone give us information about companies (Chemical, Fuel cell, Architects, ...) in Vancouver and surounding area which are looking for graduate engineer (not only full time, but also part time, temporary, intership, ...) ?

Thanks a lot

Greetings from Germany

Thx´s!
I know Ballard and I will send an application for an employment!
But the problem is, that the companies in CA only write back, if they are interested in somebody! In Germany you received also a message when you are not the ideal candidate. And than you know it!
I sent a lot of resumes to companies, but mostly I´ve heard nothing!

I hope that my engish is okay...

My German Physics prof worked at Ballard before he came to the university. And I'm sure your english will be fine, it is a lot harded to communicate what you want to say when typing than it is talking. And German accents are probably one of easiest ones to understand, likely because of the similarities between English and German.

...yeah speaking is easier to say something than writing!
I think Ill call Ballard! Maybe its better than an email!
Fuel Cell development is the future, but difficult to get an employment...

My dream job is to work in the snowboard industry! Developmet of boards and stuff like this! But I think its very, very difficult to get a job in such a company!

Oh, i use very often the word difficult and but!! :x

Do you have an good contact to your Prof and do you know if he has still contact to BALLARD?

so long
