Petro Canada price

On August 30 Petro Canada (pca on TSX) closed at about $95.00.
Today it started trading at about $47.00

I cannot figure out that the hell happened. I don't see any stock splits and nothing major in the news regarding petro canada. Can anyone tell me what happened. I would think a major Canadian oil company dropping $50.00 in one night would be fairly significant. Their own website investor information doesn't say anything about the drop as well.

What am I missing here??

Thanks!

so as the price of the stocks drop, the execs. raise the prices so they'll have even mor ebillions to buy even more stocks for cheaper.
