I'm staying in camp Sabine. I think her take on it was perfect, because it aligns with my own. Capitalism has done great and terrible things, but it could be much worse if we relent on reigning capitalism in. And we really need to reign it in.
Also because she looks and sounds exactly like my late aunt.
Concur but the synopsis was sloppy. Most of what was a critique of the shortfalls were very poorly backed up. In other words we could have had any other system motivated to produce similar results.
It's not the system that is flawed, it's the enforcement and maintenance that seems a task to hard.

IMHO, it's treating corporations like people as far as rights go, when they are held to none of the responsibilities as people that has given them a disproportionate effect on society. Hold the Chief Officers legally responsible for the sins of the corporation, and we will see much better behaviour from them.
30 Million and how much last year in stock buy backs? 15 years and not a peep on the sacrifices the workers made during a government bailout. Taxpayers and workers saved the company and did the real work. 92% of her bonus is based upon performance, well next years profits are looking to take a major hit if she doesn't get serious about the minimum demands of the workers. I thought the gall of the Unity Ceo was bad but this girl takes the cake.
These assholes need to be reminded that guillotines are still a thing.

The only way workers get improvements is by collective bargaining. Supply and demand. If they want a supply of labour, then demand better working conditions. It's the robber barons who want to convince people that they have no power.

Yeah, the performance of her workers no less. Another parasite making obscene amounts of money for doing nothing.
