Any US trained and licensed Psychologists now working in Can
Wife and I have been talking about possibly moving to Canada. She is a licensed Psychologist (licensed in Mass for 1 year). Looks like she might have difficulty getting licensed in many of the Provinces. Any US citizens now in Canada that have gone thorough this process?
We read about the shortage of physicians and nurses in Canada, any shortages of psychologists in any major cities in Canada??
Thanks!

I have a friend who is working at the local hospital and was from the states. As soon as I can chat with her I will see if she would be willing to take your call if you would like to chat with her.

Not that I am aware of, there seems to be a lot. Also I diddn't realize Canada has a shortage of nurses or physicians. Seems pretty ok whenever I go to the hospital, very staffed.
Though I know for sure you would probally be shit out of luck in Toronto. I would try BC, though I suppose Toronto could be a iffy. Theres a lot of jobs in Toronto, I think Toronto might be your best bet actually. Scratch what I said up top.
