This kind of brings a tear to the eye.

This is the best version of our anthem IMO.
I remember having to sing oh Canada in school every morning but it was the old version,in this video you can hear the pause where no one know's which one to use.

And people say us Albertan's are seperatists, those are oilers fans friends.

I didn't know there was a good version of that Africa song...8O

Bad comercial music is one thing and that's the fault of the consumer. I get a fast refresher on what's new from my daughter and if I hear one crappy remix of a good song, I'm going to hurl. I swear they could take a siezed bearing or rabit in a blender and make it a hit with the right publicity behind it.

My vote goes to Team Fiat.

Thems fighting words. Africa by Toto is great. I'm not sure how you can get a "refresher" on new music from your daughter. That seems anti-reality going by every person who ever grew up with uncool parents.

WOOO AFRICA!

haha, such a good song!

I have never understood the American fascination with 'performing' the national anthem. What is wrong with getting an attractive woman, with a pleasant voice, sing the anthem like any normal person would?
Nothing.

What's wrong with rocking it?

Jimi Hendrix style?

That guy was pretty well copying Jimi at woodstock.

A classic.I think my parents were there but they wont admit to it.

I agree Zig, that is how O'Canada should be sung.

Her presence at the ceremonies along with her performance were entirely appropriate.

Aretha rules.

I thought it was awesome.

That guy in Edmonton's voice is a little nasal, but not in a bad way. I've always liked his singing.

The crowd's singing is nice, too.

Mad props to Edmonton. PDT_Armataz_01_37

Oh yea? Never saw that.

He sung it during the OHL final when Guelph and Peterborough played on another about 8 or 10 years ago. That was the Cameron Mann playoff for the Petes when he scored, like, 20 shorthanded goals in the playoffs.
