EyeBrock EyeBrock:
There you go again Mustang. Trying to bring reasoned and educated logic into a debate. When will you learn!?

The yanks also helped the Brits in the Falklands well before they told anybody else. The yanks have always sided with freedom, in the end!

Winnie said it best:

"The Americans will always do the right thing... After they've exhausted all the alternatives."
- Winston Churchill

EyeBrock,

I have to apologize 8) – I get carried away sometimes with trivial matters like, facts, methodology, sources and logic  . I think I may have a serious intellectual disorder – I like good history whereas others apparently like researchin’ via web-surfin’, but that’s the Internet

while the Americans were figuring out who to side with.

Quite the assertation you're making...the United States was supporting Britain and her allies since the war started via lend-for-lease and other war supplies. The United States didn't support the Nazis at all, they just didn't feel the need to go to war over European problems until they were attacked by Japan and Germany declared war against them as a response.

Now the Royal Family is another thing - the Queen Mother was a known Nazi sympathizer, and I'm sure that extended to a good portion of the rest of the inbred European family of royals.
the jewnited states went to war with germany because jewish american bankers had a lot to lose if hitler won the war(he owed them money and wouldnt pay up)that is all true but not printed in the history books!

Hey Regina, nice cap badge.

PJB @ Tue Mar 29, 2005 8:00 am

I have noticed on several threads that realcanuck does not mince words and many of his assertions are way off base and racially motivated. Hopefully someone talks to him and lets him know that racial slurs like his will not be tolerated.

Both Canada and the United States along with all other Allied countries that fought in both world wars played significant roles in the defeat of their enemies. Both together and in seperate actions. We cannot take away the roles that these nations played nor can we say that one country did more than another. It was an ALLIED victory and not just one nations victory.

Thanks EyeBrock. The lower moving signature was done by one of the members from this site a long time ago. The signature remains but the member (Fats)? has long since departed. The cap badge is a family thing.

Well said PJB. :!:

To answer a few remarks of yours... Aircrew and Planes come hand in hand... And like I said, if one more Carriers Full of Fighter with experienced Pilots to include your comment, would had made the difference at Midway. Japanese pilots were already using Kamikaze techniques at Ceylon to take out fuel storage. Take a full Wing of those guys at midway and the Americans would had their asses kick. It is the same fleet that attacked Ceylon and Midway... Do your research before answering my post. If the savoir of Ceylor himself could come to that analogie and breif members of the Canadian forces, I am sure that you would end up with the same conclusion.

On a last note... You and Dayseed write in a very similar gramar... Any relation between you two...
