Thanks warhawk for that post - I needed the laugh ! I was born during the height of the Vietnam war and I'd have moved to Canada for sure . Unless of course I could have gotten a choice assignment in the Air national guard like Bush . It's rabid peckerwoods such as yourself that are one of the reasons I am in the process of seeking Canadian citizenship . And you aren't alone in your attitude and opinion , around here in Northeast Tennessee there are more than a few of your type who go off at the lip whatever chance they get . Yeah , you have the right to express your opinion - but why waste your time here ? Why not try Michael Savage's site or Rush Limbaugh ?

And don't forget WarHawk, a lot of those pot smoking Canadians ran south of the border to sign up and help the US in Vietnam.

I know if I was on my way over there I'd want to smoke a little mother nature myself!

Hmmm...

It would be interesting to find out the ratio of Canadian's that went south to help the US vs. the number of those who came here to dodge the draft (the only point I actually agree with WarHawk on as being deplorable  ).

But, as Stompin' Tom Connors said - "If you don't believe your country should come before yourself, you can better serve your country by livin' someplace else".

I'll have to research that and post it in here somewhere, unless someone beats me to it.

Is it just me, or have there been alot more people coming here that like to bash Canadians?

Do we need to bring up the water, lumber, oil, electricity issue again?

Ever since the whole Iraq thing I've noticed a big difference being a Canadian living in the US. A lot of people down here take it VERY personally that Canada did not join in the war. Many people here believe the only countries in the world that opposed the war were Canada, France, Germany, Russia and China.

From what I remember, Iraq opposed it too.... :D

I think some of the feelings I'm running across living here are seeping into our otherwise happy forums.

I can't wait to go home.....30 days to go.....

Also on our news today they said they found all kinds of weapons, missiles, missile launchers, etc. in Iraq that were made in France & Germany as of last year. Shows what kinds of so-called allies we really have.

Hypocrisy is runs rampant through your post. I guess "they" never told you about the chem/bio weapons the US has sold to Iraq, (which was their "case" for war) along with other weapons and technologies. You need to look for the truth. Or you could remain ignorant of facts and rely like many americans do for information, on "propaganda". Another trait many americans share is when the patriotism turns on, their brains turn off.

Well time to go have a cold Molson, LMAO! I'll stick with my Killian's Irish Red or Coor's.

Right on, more good Canadian beer for me.
American beer is like the US State dept. truth telling. It's all watered down, and tastes horrible.
