Although the American press and government officials tried to initially point the finger to Canada immediately following he massive East Coast blackout, it appears now as though the Canadian officials were correct and the blackout was caused by an Ohio utility.

Canadian officials had this one nailed within hours of the blackout actually happening.

Awile back , buried in the washington post...there is a grad student at george mason university who developed somekind of program that would point out america's most vulnerable spots for messing things up..kinda like the ohio co ..do one thing and look at what happened..I never saw a follow up to this article.and i think the govt either bought it or shut it down..war on terror thingy...any way this guy spent years maping out utilities and other areas of commercial enterprise and figured where the achillies heel was so to speak..anyone hear of this?
