A recent news story from the associated press reported that some Americans are considering moving to Canada due to their disatisfaction with life in the U.S. It seems America's northern neighbor is a different country in many ways , despite basic similarities.

The Adopt a yank program seeks to help disgruntled Americans relocate and make new lives for themselves in Canada. The program is designed to educate wannabe cannucks in the ways of the Great White North. We will help you to determine (if appropriate) how long to wait to start hating the Canadian prime minister after they have assumed office (regardless of whether or not they are doing a good job). Most importantly , we teach you how to not take yourself to seriously , and enjoy life , and to care about your fellow citizens. Despite some of Canada's politicians , and a few isolated idiots , most Canadians have already learned that from birth .

Nether did I... i used to live in Que.. and once after a wait of 5 years did my taxes, 2 weeks later i get a letter from Que revenue stating i owed them 3,400.00 So I sent them a letter back stating i didnt support subersive govts. and that I wouldnt give one penny to a regime that was intent on destroying my country.. Just read that post RH (23:22) thurs. Aug. 20,'03. Man, there is so much shit the Quebec govt. does that people outside of QC are unaware of. The highest taxed juristiction in North America is QC! I talked to a couple of people @ work who live in QC & work in Ontario & I'm hearing nighmare scenarios! From what I can figure, in my income bracket, I'll be paying $50 to $60 more income tax PER WEEK, & it goes to Quebec City, not Ottawa. Now that I am a resident of "la belle province" (not for long), I went in to the DMV, sorry, the "SAAQ-societe de l'assurance automobile quebec" to get my license changed over to Quebec for a couple of months. The chick asks me if I have health insurance!!! Do they drive THAT bad here, I think? No, they are not terribly concerned about your health, the health dept. is tied into the dept. of transportation, which is tied into the dept. of revenue, & every other Goddamn govt. agency! When you move out of Quebec, you have to change your drivers licence, right? THATS when they run you're name & find out if you have paid your dues to keep a subversive govt. up-and-running. Quebec is the ONLY province in Canada who collects income tax provincially, on top of Federal income tax! Real fucked-up! Costs them a lot to go against the tide, institute govt. sponsored racism, convince the population they are "different" than the rest of the country. They even call provincial parks "national parks" here! I'd be LMAO if it wasn't so fucking sad! My father made the mistake of dying in Quebec in 1979 ( he worked there on contract when he died at the age of forty)). Those bastards held up the settling of his estate for a year-and-a-half over $238 in back taxes. And they will stop at nothing to get what they are "owed", especially from people who move away from the the great socialist utopia known as Quebec. Yet, this doesn't get any airtime here, in the media, or anywhere else. So guys like a certain "reverend" who think they are so goddamn worldly & self-righteous and anti-anything American, should take a look, a REAL look, at what the fuck is going on here, before they start shitting on a foreign govt. & way-of-life they know nothing about (U.S.).
