Socialist medicine. OMG. Socialism is an abomination in the eyes of God. Yeah, yeah. Let's go back to those glory days and forget corporations paid taxes and obeyed the will of the people out of the goodness of their hearts.

ASLplease ASLplease:
for the most part, that description doesn't fit me, I've supported Reagan, Bush, Clinton, and Bush on their foreign policy, and don't know much about their domestic policy.

I don't know much about Obama's foreign policy, does he have one?

Does it matter if he has one to someone who 'supported' Bush's foreign policy?

I would think that someone who supported Bush's foreign policy might be more inclined to be deeply immersed in the subject of cornea implants.

It might be heavily regulated but most of our government is made up of former corporate lackeys that get said corps preferential treatment. Doesn't matter if it's the democrats or republicans, I go and read what bills are being presented and who authors them every morning, shocking to say the least. Free market my ass.

By the way if you don't like socialism then we can get rid of the police, fire, libraries, schools, etc.

I think a lot of it is that we had unrealistic expectations of Obama. We wanted him to fix everything NOW, and nobody is capable of that. Then we have congress doing everything in it's power to make sure he fails. He's done his best, but our problems will take more than one 4 year term to fix, and he can't do a lot with congress doggedly opposing him at every opportunity.
