If firearms are killing thousands of people then why do we send people to jail for those killings instead of the firearms?

Or even an "Only in Canada" list.
All lists for Canada must include at least one reference to... freezing cold, snow, snowmobiles, moose, maple syrup, poutine, oil sands and mosquitoes.

I took a sabbatical from CKA. I didn't even know about this big hate-on on for Free Republic. I didn't actually know that much about FR. The only time I've ever been there is when I get a link. I prefer the little blogs with the out of the way stuff you don't generally hear about. My favorite lately is BlazingCatFur. It's Canadian. I was attracted there at first, because I heard they were being sued by infidelophobes.
Like I said I got the link to the "Only in America" thing from IOwntheWorld.
They like to post stuff that's guaranteed to get Progs doing that five pages of "Shut Up" thing they like to do. It's fun to just sit back and watch sometimes. I heard a good quote at IOtW one time. It went something like Progs want Conservatives to shut up, and Conservatives want Progs to keep talking.
