Here's the juicy bit...

The "border adjustment" program would allow the U.S. to demand foreign manufacturers "pay for and hold special allowance" to account for carbon included in products imported to the United States.


So they twist our ear a bit with the copyright thing, kick us in the nuts with a carbon tariff. Next up NAFTA. This new American government really wants to let us know quick who's owns the boots, and who's job it is to lick them.

I can't imagine Canadian companies are going to be that much different than US companies and, unless this is just politics, whould hammer China, Pakistan and other countries that have almost no enviromental standards
