Canada Kicks Ass
USA-Canada Integration

Did you hear on the news that USA and Canada want deeper integration. I do believe in free trade and tax cuts. However, we do not need deeper integration. We are going to lose our sovereignty. If we have further integration, we will have the same foreign policy and the same racist border security policies of USA.

Just remember what happened in France and Netherlands in the EU Constitution referendum. They do not want to lose their sovereignty. Under the EU Constitution every country will eventually have the same policies as the United Kingdom on issues such as defence and anti-terrorism laws, both of which have been condemned by human rights groups.

The reason I want a source is that without context (who is saying this, and what does "deeper integration" mean...), this is a meaningless thread to me. It sounds suspiciously like a start of a "let's flame the US" fest, which does not interest me at all...

Canada is vanishing, it has been ever since Mulroney. We are already being 'integrated' or just purchased by our neighbor to the south. Check out the link, a bit of a long read and sure to piss you off.

Well, we're not purchasing Canada because I'm sure someone, somewhere in the Pentagon, has a nice plan to steal it from you good people when the Quebecers have you distracted.

The ONLY upsides of Canada being part of the USA (for Canada that is)would be higher speed limits on Canadian highways and no more waiting at the freaking border crossings!
