I suspect the DDOS is a banned member being a petulant child. But I have no proof.

I suggest looking at the source and comparing it to the known user IP list. Or it could just be a rando who enjoys taking from others.

An AI Scraping Tool Is Overwhelming Websites With Traffic

Has the avatar upload function been disabled? Mine isn't working. I can't select from my own pic files or from an image hoster, all that's offered is the selection from CKA's built-in forum gallery.

It looks like it isn't working. I can't upload a new one either.

Edit: can you upload a new one from "profile photo" under "profile"? It looks like I can from there.

Yea, I tried the same thing. You can browse default avatars, and there is a selection of 'old_avatars' which has one of my old ones in it, but I can't set my newly uploaded avatar to become my current forum avatar.

phpBB here is sadly as beat up as that practice robot they found in the junkyard in Real Steel.
