I'm fairly certain that the group-mind ideological goosestepping that now dominates CKA is a hell of a worse problem than the slowness of it's ancient phpBB system. It's a problem that's basically responsible for driving away more contributing members than any tech problems ever could have.

I can't speak for others, but the sluggishness of the site is keeping me away most days. I use it on mobile a lot and it can take minutes for the site to load. And then I'm usually faced with having to re-login.
Using the site is like being in dial-up again.

The site is dam near dysfunctional at this point. Multiple log in required daily, the site is laggy causing duplicate posting. And it's been unsecure for over a decade now.
We need a new life boat, options?

I mentioned a few pages ago that I was getting occasional intrusion alerts from my virus protection. This ONLY ever happens when on this site and it happened again a few days ago. A bit worrisome for sure.

Is there a way to view the CKA on PC normally now? Chrome was the first to go, then Firefox, and now Edge.
All I get is text and images scattered across the page, making it difficult to read or post anything.
Should we try and set up another lifeboat?

Site is back for now. I'm really not sure why it keeps going down or getting slow.
Deleting old content really wouldn't have an impact.
If you load the site as https the CSS doesn't load, that's why the txt and images are scattered. I might be able to fix that.

CKA only works for me in Edge - Chrome and Firefox are all jumbled up.
