Animated .gif a no-no?

When I upload my avatar, an image placeholder is all that appears in the post. Ctrl-F5 = yes, did that.

Thanks for pointing that out, I have been having some troubles with the avatar paths, I will look at it, and hopefully get it fixed right away. I beleive your avatar still shows up when uoi post, just not in your Profile Control Panel

I found the problem, I just forgot to give write permissions to the avatar folder, whoops 
So you may now upload your own avatars.
