My plans to have a table at Canada Place (Vancouver) for Canada Day have failed again this year. The person in charge of the booths had to check with the event organiser and they denied my request because of the word "ass". Give me a break
I was really hoping to be there because it would be a lot of fun, I would make a lot of t-shirt sales, which the event organisers would have gotten 25% of. And would be good exposure for the site and Canadian Pride. but no.... And now I have a huge order of Canada Kicks Ass shirts that should be ready tommorow coming which cost me thousands of dollars, just sitting here. I barely have enough for rent this month.
So I now have Canada Kicks Ass Shirts of all sizes and colour back in stock with the addition of a "Canadian Girls Kick Ass" shirt. I must start selling these to get some money back, since I won't get to sell them on Canada Day. Unless i can find another place to sell them in.. 1 day which i don't think is going to happen.
Change it to Canada Kicks Butt, or something like that.
Scoop that domain name and link it to this site.
Don't tell the organizers that
Why don't you set up a table.. and cover just ourtside the trade and convention centers main area.... talk to the city of vancouver about a special event sales permit (business)
Or just get a table at the greatest of all Canadian celebrations at Langley Airport.. Thousands of people....
i found out i couldn't go to late so too late to try and make other plans for this year.
Will just have to try and sell lots from the ewbsite. I update some of the stocks on the website now.
I will keep an eye out for another event this summer i could sell at.
Can you handle purchase requests from the USA?
of course, I have sold almost as many shirts in the USA as in Canada
I got a bunch of friends who might be interested in the shirts. I'll get back to you ASAP!
I'm sure there will be alot of tourists in BC this weekend, could you get a permit from whomever to sell t-shirts on Robson street? I don't know how that works, but it's an idea.
