Canadian Literature
The idea just came to me.
What would you think of putting up a Canadian Literature forum where we could discuss about canadian authors, books, poems, etc.
??

Saturday Night was interesting at times.... haven't read it for a few years, or even know if it's still in circulation.
what about political rags?
Not my expertise, to say the least... maybe Mclain's....
hm...thanks for the tips.
I don't like the idea of putting the board up.
We already have a writing board, good enough IMO.

The Walrus and This are likely the two best ones. Geist (I think they're still publishing) is generally pretty good. There are several provincial magazines that cover those areas. There's something called Sir John A that's supposed to be launching in October as well.
There used to be more, mostly small market, magazines that covered various parts of Canadian culture. They got killed by the split-run advertising NAFTA ruling a few years ago though. Culture wasn't on the table, my ass.
