I am thinking about creting a CKA bloggins service, where users can host a blog here for free, and would hopefully have more and better features than existing blog services.

Additionaly I have been talking over at www.vivelecanada.ca to make it a joint project, to make it accessable to users from both sites.

I still have some interest in doing this. But not sure if people are interested.

Sure people already have blogs, but what about a new blog that could control all your other blogs.

For example when you post here, it auto posts in your Livejournal, or Blogspot, or MSN space, if you choose so. So kind of links them all together.

   

What exactly is a "blog" and what is it's purpose? I'm not that much of a web surfer, but I hear about them all the time.

   

A "blog" is a web log. People set them up as online journals accessable by other internet users. Some are merly personal ie. so-and-so went to see a movie, well others have become extremly popular for offering up news and commentary. The big news networks have taken notice of these guys.
