good ole days when you looked forward to being on the ice{outdoor rink}.No heat in the locker room,players bench made of wood which looked like someone dragged it up from the beach...ass splinters galore.
So cold,and no protection from the wind that no one would be out watching the game.If there was anyone they looked like frozen popcicles.
My dad didn't own a car so had to bus,and walk.Needless to say it was an all day outing
Played left defence until I got a vicious check,and landed on my tailbone.
Finished the game,but the coach could see there was something wrong.When I told him he kicked me off the team..don't need an injured player..
Could'nt of played anyways... God tailbones hurt..and its not like you can put it in a cast to immobilize it.
Tried again years later on the high school team,but I just didn't have the killer instinct...

well i have given some more though about trying a Canadaka.net Chat Romm out again. This time will definatly go back to the IRC channel with a java interface on the website. but you could also connect through a mirc client.

I will try and get it so the java client will automatically use your username from the site when yout logged in.

Would be nice to also have a chatroom status under your avatar in the forums. So show if the user is in the chatroom or not.

   

The chatroom status is a great idea. The home page has a list of members currently logged in, could it also indicate which of them is chatting?
