Have joined the Bloc group since nobody was in that particular group.
This is only for fun.
Anyone that have read my posts, surely they know that this is only a joke.
I am glad I can join more that one. Although I am a Liberal, I have always been interested in the ideas put forward by The Green Party. Food for thought.
UPDATE Dec 21, 2006
The recent topics list on the forum index now is connected with the forum political groups. You only see topics from the 5 political party forums if you are a member of the party group. Additionaly these topics are highlighted by colour to stand out.
Red = Liberal
Dark Blue = Conservative
Orange = NDP
Green = Green
Light Blue = Bloc
The posts in last 24 hours and posts since last visit are also updated to use the above colour highlighting.
Took me awhile to figure out a way to do this and with a minimum of database queries.
Anyone can still visit the political party forums manualy and still view and post in topics even if they are not a member of the group. But remember the special rules for these forums. If people continue to abuse the rules, I might restrict posting in the party forums to group members only.
The next step is to figure out a way to give each party forum a different look, so even if you stumble into a topic there, it should be in your face that you are in a party forum.
Mr_Canada wanted to be able to change the order of groups that show beside his avatar, because its limited to 2. Its too complicated so I came up with a compromise.
The 2 group icons that are shown are chosen randomly each time, this is of course if a user belongs to more than 2 groups.
I like this. No more buried icons.
PS Congrats on supporting the Bloc, Trev.
well its not like there are many bloc members here.
I'm working on a new project and the bloc is not included in it, heh
lol thats a cool graphic, submit it to the gallery
yah thats the right place.
You make some cool graphics, feel free to submit them anytime, so there on display for everyone to see.
Am I suposed to join up?.. I'm not fond of the idé though.. ???
A left party wouldn't be to much to ask for would it? The NDP just isn't.. left left.. and it cirtenly isn't international or global.. Far left is all about global socialism.. how about it?
