Well, it does seem to be a better system for creating a feel of democracy and membership input.
However, I think this is a lot of work, and possibly a big waste of time.
If only we could all just agree to renew our commitment towards being courteous to each other.
If we did that, we could get back to the business of enjoying this website.

You guys do realize that if we rise to the occasion and create a culture where everyone is respectful of each others ideas.....the membership on this forum might double.
We would easily draw members from other forums.

If the moderators moderated with the leniency that they have, and we operate with the culture of respect, I feel the asskissing could exist in a noman's land where no one would have to go.

I'm getting what your saying. Perhaps this could exist at a level of 80% of members, there will always be the 20% looking to fuck that up.

20% won't ruin this website, unless we allow it.
We need to stop feeding trolls, start responding to the good posts only.
Granted, some of us may move back and forth from the 80% to the 20%......lets figure out a way to change that. Damn it, dont expect me to have the answers to everything!

Hehe I think we should have a foiler/ultra partisan section, they seem to be the biggest trolls of all. If we can separate legitimate threads, from the ones where only one side yells with their fingers in their ears, we might cut down on this problem.

Well I think the moving between 80 and 20 is a human factor. It's when someone is constantly holding the line at the bad 20% they need to be removed.
