here are some general guildlines for submitting news articles to he site:

Basicaly try not to just copy entire articles to this site, could run into copyright problems. You can take the first couple paragraphs and use in the frontpage "story text" then have a link to the full articles like:
Read the full article at: Canada.com

you dont have too.. but i do prefer if people make the links have a target="_blank" so the link opens in a new window. Im workin ong making that automated.

If its an article you have written or have permission fom the source you can post the entire thing, keep the story text to a couple paragraphs, and put the read in Extended text.

You can use images, the form will let you upload the picture, try to keep the pictures small and decent looking. Also if you look at the html if you add class="floatright" to the picture tag, it will align to the right of the text. (you can see many examples on current news items).

It is recomended you use Internet Explorer, so you get the "MS Word" style formatting toolbar to upload imges, creat links ect. rather than doing the html by hand. When doing this there is a button in the bottom right of the forum to change to html view so you can edit things like the imageFloat.
