Possible CTV interview/mention of Canadaka.net

well just had a call from the lady at CTV, they are coming over on the 20th and sounds like its going to be filmed. EEEK kinda nervous!
Natural, but try not to be. Just focus on what it is that makes your site so cool. Your banner a good talking point and so too are the causes supported by this site. The topics, political and otherwise are centered on Canadian issues that is what is bringing them, and the thousands of visitors on this site, here. The rest is easy. Oh yea, and push your swag man it rocks cuz Canada does!

Scape is correct. No interview/news story is without a preconcived idea for an angle. A good guess is the picture gallery if they did any homework at CTV and i am sure someone did. But eh. one of them has to be on the site checking it out, thats a good thing. We can toast the House of Commons any day for a good discussion. Show em our the good side.
if they will let ya have the inverview with a laptop or a monitor with the CKA home page up on it. LCD reduces the sync problems with the cameras.

Maybe try to like... look at "Made In Canada" in a more philospohical way than just consumer goods, like what being Canadian really means etc. Other than that, gl. I'd never be able to go in front of the Millions, upon Millions, upon Millions, of Canadians watching, expecting.
Yeah but don't be nervous or nothing hey...it's not like we would raze the shit outta you if you looked goofy or did something foolish.....ok..ok we would, but in a brotherly/sisterly kinda a way!

Gallery or no gallery, there's nothing to be ashamed of. This is a great site that promotes Canada. Check out the forums, plenty of healthy discussion, liberal ideas. There are even some beautiful girls.
Ask them for the questions they plan to ask you. That way you can give them better answers.
Show no fear, on Canada Day there is no way that they would want to lambaste a Canadian site that promotes Canada. Knock 'em dead and let us know when to tune in so we can watch.

wow, thanks for all the comments everyone and the tips. The one about red not being good on TV could be very helpful, a Black CKA shirt would probably be best!
They do play on getting some footage of me at the coputer "working" on the site, so the site will be on the screen. They also want to get some shots of me hold t-shirts i guess.
Don't know much else than that, will keep ya all posted.

It is all there idea. first they were just looking for a patriotic Canadian, then they looked at the site more closely i guess and decided to feature the site, then the t-shirts. So i see nothing wrong with it.
I'm not sure what type of impact it will have but i tihnk it has potential to bring a lot of new people to the site/forums. And thats my primary goal.
