How about a cone of silence?

Anyone else having trouble changing their profile picture, I tired to put up a new one and the image was broken. When I put the old one up it still said the image was broken.

Not if I can get to my profile. 99% of the time I do that, I get this:

Why does someone with a -24 rating have the ability to hand out 4 rep points at a time? I thought the ability to award multiple rep points was based on your tally of points?

Two things regarding news articles:

- The "feedback" tab that sticks out now is really annoying when it covers the article you're trying to read.

- would it be possible to put the "close frame" link at the top of the sidebar instead of having to scroll down to the bottom?

really? You must have a small screen or low resolution set.
I guess to me there is tones of room since i have a 22" widescreen, which lends itself well to that format.

But there is a little trick, you can click the news_link title in the cka_frame (near the top) and it will open the link fullscreen.

I should probably update that cka_frame though, its a couple of years old now.

Not sure if this would be a "improvement" or just a move sideways but with the recent changes over @ YouTube with the clampdown on copyright infringements (many of their "music videos" have had the sound removed ) and the move away from user driven videos I was wondering if there was any way we could embed vids from other sites?

One possibility might be LiveLeak which often has timely, topical vids that Im sure would start some discussions plus the odd humorous one along the way. Ive seen a fair number of threads started with links to LiveLeak vids so this might be a natural step.

Metacafe would be good too. If I remember correctly you had added the ability to add them to CanuckTube at one point in time, would it be very difficult to add that code to the forum itself?
