Vote for CKA Beavers Name

Harry beaver got my vote just more you can do with that name and have lots of laughs with it.

Though Castor does sound nice Cast 'or that beaver

I feel betrayed ... all those names are terrible :cry:

First I have a short story for you. Please understand that this has no bearing on what the CKA beaver should be named.

Years ago I was a leader for a Beaver Colony. (For the uninformed Beavers are part of Scouts Canada and for boys younger than Cub Scouts)

Every Colony has a stuffed animal in the shape of a beaver as a mascot. We asked the boys to come up with a name for our mascot. Then we put all the names in a box to draw the winner at the next meeting. The boys had no idea that we went through all the names and took out all the weird and silly ones. The best ones remained and we even put in a few of our own ideas. Yes, and we even put extras of the better ones.

Through all of the scheaming, somehow one name slipped through the separation process.

The name of our Beaver....?

Cleaver the Beaver
was building his dam
from sticks of pine
and raspberry jam
The pine worked fine
and stayed in place
but the jam got spread
all over his face.
