How many generations has your family been here and what part of the world did they come from, should be an interesting form. My family has been in Canada for about 5 generations, coming from England though we have a german name.
NOTE all you sepratists out there, you live in CANADA so if you wish to join in and tell us when your family came here, please do, just don't start your traitorous bull here, there are enough topics going on about your plight already.
Mom's side:
Grandfather came over from the Ukraine in the 30's
Great Great Grand mother late 1800's from England.
Dad's side:

I guess you could say that I'm first generation... my family is at least 4 generations American
Second generation Canadian (born in North York, ON).
On my father's side (Calgary, AB), my grandparents immigrated to Canada in the early 1900's as children... my paternal grandmother (from England) missed the Titanic by a few weeks (she came on the next ship...). My paternal grandfather was from Scotland.
On my mother's side, I know she was born here (Etobicoke, ON), but I don't know if her parents were... possibly (British and Dutch heritage on this side of the family).
My Grandpa was from England and my Gramdma was from Holland, they both moved to Canada when they were very young. Been here ever since.
All my family comes from England, and with the common surname "Morris" my family tree goes back generations.
Mom's side: since 1535 (no joke)
Dad's side: since 1973
