In his book Canada, the Foundations of its Future, writer Stephen Leacock said he was writing "the story of the making of Canada...to show the foundations of ur presents national life..."

Question: Stephen Leacock wrote the quote during World War II. Read his quote carefully. What might be his bias?

You might try looking Leacock's book up at the library and reading it. Thatt should give you an idea of his bias. I haven't read that particular one, but I've read some of his other stuff and can say that you won't be bored.

Geez, I don't see any bias in the quote. By Leacockian standards it's a remarkably insipid quote... :P
