Just forwarded this to a bunch of friends in the States. When it got down to a windchill of -56 here in January, one friend in Missouri asked, 'How do you go outside when it's that cold?' I told her, you dress for it. In fact one can over dress for it! I was out walking and had to go in and take a layer off, since I was getting hot and sweaty.
