where were you during the Liberal years when they raped the Military....

Oh I see. You're not here to make a point - you're here to make tired partisan insults.
Carry on.
I'm not the one posting one word replies if you have a point to say then you say it.
I have..and I would say the same of any political party that did anything contrary
to the well being of the forces. As you all know I am a serving member and all this
effects those of us in uniform and our families...so I have every right to be pissed when
you sooo concerned people come out of your shells once a year as if you truly care...
What if any action have you ever done to support the troops....
write any letters to politicians....march in any parades...start a signature program....
And for the other misinformed, Gen Hillier doesn't have the authority to dictate policy
and all of his programs..they all go throught the approval process...THE GOVERNMENT

You don't really deserve much more than a one-word reply. You have this giant chip on your shoulder that makes you believe that just because you wear the uniform you're automatically a better person than those of us who don't. You assume that us civvies don't really care... that we're merely paying lip service on the 11th.
Hopefully yours is a unique opinion.
Careful now..I have never said that those in uniform are better than those that are not..in fact I have stated just the opposite in this site. So please don't be putting words into my mouth that you can't
confirm. As for my chip if you check the posts the only time I get this irate is when the military bashing
starts. If either of you read any of my previous posts on any topic you know my demeanor. I am at
most times very very happy and enjoy my time online with you all...until those few cross the line...
If I gave you the opinion that I'm better then you just because I wear a uniform that is not the case and there are people here that can attest to that fact.

If it wasn't for Gen Hillier the forces would be circling the toilet drain.
The two face civies wouldn't shed a single tear in our demise.
Do you hear them calling for fairness with our pensions .....NO
Do you hear them demanding better service for our Vets....NO
The mild manner civi is led around by the nose by the media
and what ever drival they decide to post.......
I'm sick to death with all these nay sayers...either put
on a uniform or shut the hell up.....

If you don't think you're better, then why tell us we should "put on a uniform"? Why assume we don't really care about Remembrance Day?

Confirmed.
no it does not confirm that I think military members are better than those that aren't...I'm simply stating walk a mile in our boots before you condemn us...
Who's condemned you?
The only one getting blamed is Hillier.

either way lives are in the balance dude. the question is whether lives are immidiately in the balance, or if they will be in the balance in the future.
Very true, but maybe if the west didn't have such a long track record of poking its nose in Afghanistan's business, fewer lives would be in the balance today and in the future.
In the long run, adventures like the one we're currently involved in tend to make things worse.
So in you're World after 9/11 the West shouldn't have gone into Afghanistan?Maybe if the west didn't have such a tradition of sticking its nose in the middle-east's business 9/11 would never have happened in the first place.

Johnny_Utah Johnny_Utah:
Instead of blaming the West blame the USSR who invaded and occupied Afghanistan as they started this mess..
lol The USSR was, for all intents and purposes, a part of the west, dopey. And the west's track record of screwing around in middle-eastern countries goes back well before 1979.
Stop using that stupid boldface thing all the time.
You blame the West for 9/11 and not Al Qaeda/Bin Laden? The truth is you blame the United States for it giving Al Qaeda/Bin Laden a free pass but you're to much of a coward to admit it..
The USSR was part of the West? Ya right and you call me dopey, as for my bold don't like it to bad sport!..
