We finally received our first C-17 yesterday. What a thing of beauty when I had seen it on CBC Newsworld - seeing a C-17 with CANADA in big letters on the side of it almost gave me goosebumps! ;)

It's called the "Globemaster" not a "Galaxy". The Galaxy is the C5.

CC117 is a nice kite as we RAF types say.

Per Ardua.

We CAF types call it Big Mama. :lol:

Whats CAF? You mean Air Command? No such thing as the CAF mate!

Check out the big brain on EB. Two for two, can he make it a hattrick?

CAF = Cats Above France.

Everything and anything big is referred to as "Big Mama". :lol: :wink:

Actually I screwed up. The Air Command designation is apparently C177. Why do they do that? It's a C17!

Not being pedantic but a C17 is not a C5.

Minus one on the hat-trick for getting the number wrong.

God Bless the gone but not forgotten Royal Candian Air Force.

1969 was the last time Canada had an air force. Now it's just a boringly named command,

Per Ardua ad Astra.

I know this now, Eyebrock. Gloating or are you just being a god damn asshole now?
