We finally received our first C-17 yesterday. What a thing of beauty when I had seen it on CBC Newsworld - seeing a C-17 with CANADA in big letters on the side of it almost gave me goosebumps!

It's called the "Globemaster" not a "Galaxy". The Galaxy is the C5.
CC117 is a nice kite as we RAF types say.
Per Ardua.

We CAF types call it Big Mama.
Whats CAF? You mean Air Command? No such thing as the CAF mate!

Check out the big brain on EB. Two for two, can he make it a hattrick?

CAF = Cats Above France.
Everything and anything big is referred to as "Big Mama".

Actually I screwed up. The Air Command designation is apparently C177. Why do they do that? It's a C17!
Not being pedantic but a C17 is not a C5.
Minus one on the hat-trick for getting the number wrong.
God Bless the gone but not forgotten Royal Candian Air Force.
1969 was the last time Canada had an air force. Now it's just a boringly named command,
Per Ardua ad Astra.

I know this now, Eyebrock. Gloating or are you just being a god damn asshole now?
