As usual, unconfirmed scuttlebutt:
This is a one-off.
A friend of mine in Louisiana tells me that chatter out of Barksdale AFB says that the B-52 force is preparing to go nuclear again. First time in over 25 years that terms like 'Fail Safe' and 'racetrack' have been used. Old checklists are coming out of storage.
Total speculation part is that 2nd Bomb is going to disperse and possibly reoccupy the parts of closed SAC bases that are still fit for supporting the BUFF.

Has to happen someday. These things can't be held back forever and it's remarkably easy to kick the lid off the container holding them, not matter how much hard work was done by much better people in suppressing the instinct to let it roar. And there was no promise ever given that it couldn't, or wouldn't, happen in our days. That it's coming at the hands of a moronic orange-dyed shit-gibbon is merely ironic.

The MAGA maggots could be out in the cold if he steps down/gets impeached/goes to prison/has a coronary. Pence is as ideologically ridiculous as any other GOPer these days but, despite his kooky religion, he thankfully isn't a gibbering loon the way Trump is. Yeah, Pence would be a bad president, maybe like a repeat of GW Bush, but it's unlikely he'd be a rampaging criminal or do something that could end the world in the same way the crooked realtor is.
