Zoraja : Police are issued bullets but they don't have serial numbers. We trust them to do their jobs.
I don't know if the ratio since Rwanda of 1 white to 10,000 black has been reset but one life is still worth a great deal of political hay in Washington or Ottawa.
Bombing it from a distance with cruise missiles( like Jimmy or Billy) may save lives but it just does not get the job done.
Your right I do trust them, I trust them because most police officers chose that profession be cause they wnat to help and protect people. But why woudl you chose to be in the military? I doubt it is because you want to save lives. These are the people I don't trust, and nor do I trust the methods used to maipulate them into using those bullets.

The very same people who did all those UN misssions, Ice Storm work, Manitoba Floods, Tsunami relief, DART, etc? Who do the police go to for help? I'd like some clarification of your claim that the troops are "manipulated".

by Nationality and goals.
Nationality is immaterial when you are a soldier, especially between Canada and the U.S. They are like brothers. Goals? How are the goals any different?
Wow... this turned dumb fast..
Good find Riden!
One thing people don't realize is that the Canadian defence industry is in the top 10 or 15 in the whole world (although it's pint-sized compared to the Top 5). It's just that 80-90% of our output is for us or the Americans.
