Anyone else getting this new Military Channel? A fair bit of it is alot of US rah rah stuff ( understandable ), but there have been a fair number of stunning documentarys I had never seen before. One this afternoon about the war in the Pacific was chilling.

Jess wondering.

Never heard of it!! Does Shaw carry it?

I dont have an TV, but I do have and have seen over 100GB of War documendaries. I like docs.

If the cable co's let people choose channels a la carte, i might get the channel.

Just now found their website, and it is part of the Discovery group of channels. Does not look like Shaw is carrying it, but that does not mean you can't start bugging them about it.

After all they carry all the other Discovery channels

Shaw isn't returning my calls. Last week I called to ream them out for moving the Golf Channel out of my package and replacing it with an old movie channel. The guy admitted that they move it to make the other package more attractive. But for $99.00 I can by the digital box and can have it again. So now I'm looking at a dish and moving my internet to Bell. I could care less if I have to pay double what I was paying. The guy also said I should talk to someone else and that they would call in 24-48 hours. That was last Monday................

New? This channel is at least 1 years old; it used to be the Discovery Wings channel before that. It's a good channel but at times they show a lot of repeats.

I saw previews on DISH Network and they looked pretty good. It'll cost me an extra $10 per month so I don't know if it's worth it.
